Our Philosophy

We believe that community participation is at the heart of the Entropia Universe, and our events are based on the same foundation. A successful event is one that engages players and encourages involvement.

When we create an event, we want as many people as possible to take part. We do not aim to please only the elite, but to attract the interest of the community as a whole.

Many players are discouraged from entering competitions because they feel it is impossible for them to win. In other cases, people enter but then later give up, feeling that they are already beaten. We try to avoid this by ensuring that anyone who takes part in one of our events has a chance of winning a prize, even if that chance is very small. In long-term events, we aim to encourage continuing participation by giving those who make a greater effort a greater chance of a reward.

We therefore seek to make our events:

• open to all
• easy to enter, with straightforward rules
• low-cost or free
• structured in a way that rewards participation

We want those who participate in our events to enjoy their experience so much that they will want to take part in the next one, and will encourage others to come with them.
